OPEN weekends will be talking place at churches across Barnsley area next week.
The four-day events will be held from Thursday September 11 to Sunday September 14. They may include treasure hunts, local history displays, concerts, crafts, tours, tower trips and flower festivals.
The churches involved are Barnsley St Edward, Barnsley St Mary, Great Houghton St Michael and All Angels, Grimethorpe St Luke, Monk Bretton Priory, Penistone St John, Silkstone All Saints, Thurlstone St Saviour, Worsbrough St Thomas, Brampton Bierlow Christ Church, Wath All Saints, Wentworth Old Church, West Melton URC and Barnburgh St Peter.
