A SYLVIA Pankhurst memorial lecture will take place at Wortley Hall on Friday August 15 at 7pm.

Professor Mary Davis will give the lecture called Women Workers and the Suffrage Campaign: Class Politics versus Gender Politics.

The event is free of charge and refreshments will be served following the lecture.

Prof Davis is the author of Sylvia Pankhurst: A Life in Radical Politics and editor of the forthcoming Class and Gender in British Labour History.
