PUPILS at a Barnsley primary made a VIP's entrance to the premiere of their new DVD.
They entered the hall at Pipers Grove school in their glamorous red carpet outfits waving to parents.
Applause followed the year 3 and 4 children as they took their seats for the first showing of "Barnsley: Our Tarn".
Since April 45 pupils have been working on the DVD which features seven prominent locations - Monk Bretton Priory, Oakwell and Barnsley FC, the Metrodome, the markets, the town hall with the former Mayor of Barnsley, Len Picken, the Cooper Art Gallery and the Interchange.
Working in groups they researched their location, prepared questions and interviews and filmed on site.
