A MAN has been charged with the murder of a 26-year-old in Darfield on Sunday.

John Doran, 31, of New Street, Darfield, will appear at Barnsley magistrates' court tomorrow. He is charged with the murder of Ian Stewart, also of New Street.

Mr Stewart, a gardener, was married and had a ten-month-old baby. He died from a single stab wound to the chest after an incident on New Street on Sunday.
