Church seeks pictures

LUNDWOOD church is looking for old photographs to include in its 75th anniversary celebrations.

Parish priest, Father James McAskill is appealing for anyone to loan church pictures for a display. They will be compiled into a display and put up during the weekend of May 10 and 11 when the celebrations take place.

A garden party with barbecue, live music, stalls and children's activities will be held on Saturday May 10, 2pm-6pm and a celebration service with guest preacher will take place on Sunday May 11, 10.30am.

Father James said: "We are working on a display so people walking through can look and say 'oh that is so and so' and that they remember this and that.

"I came to this church with no records of anything. The church itself does not have any old photos or statements about anything so to see something would be nice."IFather James can be contacted at the church in 208690.
