A dancer's dream has come true after she landed a job aboard a cruise liner that will take her around the world.
Leah Knights, 19, of Westbourne Grove, Barnsley, graduated from the Phil Winston Theatreworks College at Blackpool in July.
She auditioned for a job on two cruise liners and was offered contracts with both.
She decided to go with the firm P&O because it is for a job on a liner that will sail around the globe, something she has dreamed of.
Leah, a former Kingstone pupil, will be dancing in a number of shows aboard, entertaining guests on the 107-day world cruise.
"I can't believe it. Ever since I was little and started dancing this is all I have wanted to do," she said.
"Some of the places the cruise goes to are Portugal, Barbados, Hawaii, New Zealand, Australia, Hong Kong and China."
