A Hoyland community group is 'determined to prove the cynics wrong' after having plants stolen from one of its planters and littering in the area.
Mates of Milton, have erected three planters in the Milton Road area; two in Milton Road and one in Clough Fields Road.
But Kelly Hardy, 24, a member of the group, says some plants have been stolen from the planter at the bottom of Clough Fields Road.
The group has carried out various litter picks and dog fouling patrols over the last six weeks but Kelly says they are disappointed with some members of the community using Milton Ponds and the nearby football pitch.
