Political parties have not been allocated spots at next month's Penistone Show because organisers feel they are 'dull'.
Local parties have had stands at the annual agricultural event in previous years but will not feature on September 8 and are unlikely to appear again in the near future.
But Jill Hayler, chairman of Penistone and Stocksbridge Labour Party, said she was disappointed by the decision as the show gives the public a chance to meet their local MP.
See this week's Penistone edition for more details.
