MG Makes Chinese Debut

Last week, one of the most emotive names in British motoring history was reborn on the opposite side of the world.

Nanjing Automotive (NAC), the state owned Chinese car manufacturer, has inaugurated its state of the art production line where the new MG7, previous known in the UK as the MG ZT and the MG TF, the mid-engined sports car made in the UK, will be produced for a world market.

NAC has always made clear its mission to “revive, maintain and develop MG” for both the Chinese and global consumers.

NAC also plans to produce and sell MG cars in the UK and has been working closely with the MG Owners Club to make sure that there is a receptive market here in the UK.
