Description

Angry students continued to protest after a lunchtime rally in support of lecturers who face redundancy.

The University and College Union organised the march from the college to Peel Square. Branch secretary Dave Gibson addressed a rally in Peel Square.

After the rally the protesters marched back to the sixth-from college on Eastgate and union members went into a meeting about industrial action. But students continued their protest waving banners and shouting slogans.
