Description

Photographer Chris Sedgewick, of Park Grove, took portraits of former students of the Barnsley technical college - now the University Campus Barnsley - when the building was 75-years-old.

Everyone featured in 'Voices in the Stone' received a qualification after being taught in the building.

Many of the miners featured had careers underground but were photographed at the Coal Mining Museum at Caphouse Colliery. Chris said it was a fascinating project to be involved with.
