IOU presents: Volatile Light

Visitors will enter the space to find an array of specially-made machines filling the darkened space from floor to ceiling; with pinpoints of coloured light attached to rotating arms, levers and cranks to illustrate eccentric curves, sweeping arcs and hectic scribbles.

Fused with an ever-changing arrangement of vivid sounds, the lights are transformed into a magical mixture of trails and patterns using a complex combination of computer software. You can also try your hand at creating your own light painting in the interactive room.
