Restaurant owners wind up business

THE owners of Barnsley restaurant Armstrongs have put their business into voluntary liquidation.

Brothers Chris and Martin Pick have already sold the lease on the Dodworth Road building to chef Cary Brown, who plans to reopen it as Limes restaurant.

Sheffield-based accountants Hart Shaw have been given the task of winding up the company.

But the man in charge of the case, Christopher Brown, said he was unable to say whether there are any outstanding debts until a meeting in Sheffield with creditors has taken place on Monday.
