Barnsley FC will visit Premier League champions Manchester City in the quarter-final of the FA Cup on March 9.
The Reds have earned a place in the last eight for the first time since they made the semi-finals in 2008 with wins against Burnley, Hull and MK Dons. Manchester City thrashed the Reds' local rivals Leeds 4-0 in the fifth round.
The Reds and Man City have met twice in the FA Cup before with the Blues winning both games. Barnsley's only visit to Etihad Stadium was a 7-1 thrashing in the League Cup in September 2004. The Reds' only ever win at Manchester City was a 2-1 success in their promotion season of 1996-97.
Roberto Mancini's side are currently second in the Premier League, 40 Football League places ahead of Barnsley who are fighting relegation from the Championship.
