The Barnsley Independent newspaper, Yorkshires leading free distribution newspaper, is being relaunched this week, in the shape of Barnsley Independent Today South, and Barnsley Independent Today North. Split into two separate editions, the whole idea of the Barnsley Independent Today newspaper was born out of the recent fusion between the long and well established Barnsley Independent newspaper and the recently successful ‘Barnsley Today’ magazine. The two editions will feature different editorial and advertisements, relating to the particular area of the town that the edition relates to.

So what’s in it for your business as an advertiser? Well to start with, there’s the brand new glossy UV look and feel to the outside cover of the newspaper, which, as well as looking a lot better, will ultimately give the paper greater longevity around the home. There’s also the opportunity to offer you the chance to feature your company with its own editorial about your business and services that you offer.
